Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a group of carpenters to guarantee all works are performed on time and within a budget.
  • Ensure timely availability of all materials and resources by coordinating with the project manager and other departments
  • Make sure that all safety procedures are followed and that everyone on the team is safe at work.
  • Verify that all projects are performed in accordance with requirements, review the plans and blueprints.
  • To help team members develop their abilities and expertise, mentor them.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all tools and equipment are kept in good working order.
  • Take part in project meetings and regularly inform stakeholders on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Gulf of at least 6 to 8 years, especially in a furniture carpentry business.
  • Track record of successfully managing and leading a group of carpenters
  • Powerful planning and project management abilities
  • Strong understanding of carpentry methods and equipment
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Capacity to perform well under duress and fulfil deadlines
  • Strong ability to work independently and pay close attention to details
 Salary: AED 5000-7000 with accommodation
